2. Yuri Gagarin was the first human to travel to outer space in 1961. He was a Russian cosmonaut.
3. Tereskkova’s selection as a cosmonaut happened due to her expertise in skydiving.
4. The training of Tereshkova included weightless flights, isolation tests, centrifuge tests, rocket theory, spacecraft engineering, 120 parachute jumps, and pilot training in MiG UTI jet fighters, etc.
5. Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman to fly to outer space before Valentina Tereshkova.
6. In Vostok-6 Tereshkova completed her communication and life support checks. She finished a two-hour countdown and launched the shuttle faultlessly.

In addition, ILO tries to ensure working standards for the working class all over the world.
